It is a crisp cold
Day,
With a lonely breeze.
Golden branches
Sway,
When Summer falls off the trees.

People may moan
And groan,
But it is a beautiful thing to
See
The gold and orange tones,
When Summer falls off the trees

To hear the crunch and
Crackle,
Of the pretty little leaves.
Underneath your feet,
When Summer falls off the trees.

Some may think it sad,
To see the green
Go.
But I must say I’m pleased,
When Summer falls off the trees.

It is a crisp cold
Day,
With a lonely breeze.
Golden branches
Sway,
When Summer falls off the trees.
