Trudging taxis slur through the streets,
people swarm the sidewalks.
Smells of coldness flutter through the air,
and gulps of air crystalize.
Sounds of cars, music, and laughter,
then sounds of sadness, help, and despair.
Towering buildings line the sky,
and bright lights illuminate the darkness.
Big city.
