Sometimes life seems gloomy,
Where it's difficult to understand others,
To connect with others,
Or to even be understood,

You want others to get to know you,
To feel accepted from society's warm embrace,
To feel loved as well as to be loved,
To finally have someone,
Whether it be a friend or a family member,
To have someone that understands you,
Someone who knows you inside out,
Who sees you to be the beautiful person,
Standing in front of you,
When you look in the mirror.

Someone you can lean on,
Someone who can give you guidance,
Or to show you the way when your lost,
And don't seem to know where your going,
Or even when you'll get there,
And to be your strength when you need it most.

You keep waiting,
Wondering when will you meet this amazing person,
The amazing person who you were looking for,
It might take some patience and trust on your part,
