sitting in silence.
thinking about what to think,
strumming my pencil,
pit.
patter,
pit.
patter,
pencil to paper.
write,
silence again.
strumming.
pit patter,
more,
more.
faster,
faster.
catch it before it goes away,
too many words,
not enough rhyming,
erase,
erase.
erase,
discard.
begin again,
silence once more.
fresh ideas,
flooding from pencil to paper,
too short,
too long.
scribble,
scratch.
crumple,
no more silence.
words from all directions,
mouse to keypad,
music blaring,
revise.
send.
