Why Do We Have Music
Music helps me escape the world.
When the headphones are on
I tune out the world.
I become relaxed and stress-free.
It keeps me focused
My mood rises
when my days are rough.
Music creates memories.
The best memories make me smile.
It makes me remember the good days
that I had in the past.
As oppose to the music that
makes me remember
some of the bad days I had before.
When you hear upbeat music
feet are moving when people
get up and start dancing.
When slow music is playing
it could make you feel soothing and mellow
or it could make you cry
when songs get pessimistic.
It’s the style that matters.
Music can be full of joy
that puts you in a good mood
Even when you’re low-spirited
It will help you bring your mood up
Or even in the morning
when you feel like you have no energy
Music will boost your energy up
This is an ode to music
You make any genre fit
our personality
whether it’s new or old
whether it’s loud or not
whether it makes you move
or just loosen up
Everyone has their own style
Music is for the soul
It fills us up when we are empty
The world will be nothing without it
Because it’s the puzzle piece in our lives
and it makes us who we are.
