How you make me smile.
From your cheesy Jokes,
To your high wasted jeans.
Oh elderly folks,
Your jars of candy
Never run dry.
You are filled with wisdom,
Yet as playful as a child.
Oh elderly folks,
Family members don’t appreciate you
As much as they should.
They don’t realize that your time is limited.
Oh elderly folks,
You never are truly old.
