Noises

In the beginning,noises seemed meaningless
they came from outside or under the floorboards.
But then one day they came from right behind you,
in the dark lonely room were you by yourself.
It should've been silent, but the sounds surrounded
you until you were unable to hear your own thoughts.
The sound had consumed you,then it was silent once
again in that dark lonely room where there wasn't a sound.
You were nervous at first but then you realized,that you couldn't hear you were death all alone in that dark lonely room.
