Where the driveway ends
Where my driveway ends
This is the place where my driveway ends
and before the highway begins
where the moon is shining and bright
and houses and light
and where the candy lays
Let me run from this place of boredom
and down the street,
jumping through all the piles of leaves
we stop, we wait, to make with the old ladys candy like thieves
we watch as the creepy old lady adjusts her sleeves
to the place where my driveway ends.
We shall have fun
steal her candy and run,
we knock, we run, we steal, then we sleep,
at the place where my driveway ends.
