A young child with the inspiring dreams to become an artist
They train like a dog just to get good
A child’s ignorant bliss always gets the best of them
Soon life will come
Where will you hide then?
Parents who tell them to be this, be that
But why?
Dry paint covered hands
Hard paint brush lies idly by
Red, blue, green and purple cover the white surface paper.
Is this what I really want?  I can easily reflect on my art.
A wreck that spills colors down the sheet like tears
Do I really want this?
Parents tell me I should do this
Do that
“Artist don’t get paid”
Why Can’t I just do what makes me happy?
What is the point of trying anymore?
Maybe looking for another dream is best
A half done sketchbook, now just a paper weight.
School is more important than silly dreams.
The older you get you attitude changes.
Too lazy to do this
Too lazy to do that
Yet receive a A+ average
So what is the excuse?
Excuses are easily made up but it comes down to
I am following my parents dreams not mine.
They want the best for you yet they tell you no on what you want to do to make your happy.
I don’t want to live in a dream that doesn’t mean I am happy
I want to do what my heart is set on doing
I want to be an artist!
I have to try or else live life just being lazy and not jumping at any opportunity!
Because
Being lazy is easier than being happy.
You only live life once!
