Feels
The love that we feel
The burning of joy
Is the pain that has healed
The light inside our souls
That fight to get out
Is what our lives
Are all about.
We look at people everyday
That crash and burn
But they don’t know any better way
All they see is the trouble and the pain
The feeling that they get
Of being so small
So they question
Why am I living, why am I treated like I’m a game?
I take out the blades, knives, pills
Why does no one else
Care about how I feel?
We all need to come together
Through risings and falls
To show that all the pain
That they’re feeling isn’t worth it at all
They need to see that there is, was
And always will be light in darkness
That as long as you seek it
It will be worth it all.
