Balancing Act

September 23, 2014
By Anonymous

the sidewalk is

like a balance beam,
And stability

has been shaking

with each step.

Bleeding by reality’s

simplest touch.

The movement of her

feet blankly wobble
in crisscrossing

lines along the

paved ground.

Her eyes blink

as blue rivers fall,

painfully.

the razor befriends her virgin skin.

To love is to be vulnerable; Triumph is born out of struggle; We notice shadows most when they stand alone in the midst of overwhelming light.

Wow. This is beautiful and sad too. But rather true. I can connect to it, a lot. Know that you're a wonderful and amazing and beautiful person and writer, because you are. You have a lot of talent and greatness in you, because you do. This poem is just amazing. I love it. Thank you so much, for sharing your heart.
