The Puddle
One day I was walking down my driveway to take out the trash.
Then it randomly starts to rain.
So I think to myself,
“This is weird, there are like no clouds in the sky.”
Then my mom calls me in to have dinner.
So decide to sprint.
The driveway is so slippery and slimy I just start to slip back to the bottom.
My mom says that if I don’t come in now i won’t get dinner,
so I start to strengthen up and walk straight up the driveway.
once i make it to the top
I start to see this puddle in the middle of the driveway.
So I start to think if I should step in it,
or not.
So I feel that I should step in the puddle.
Once my foot hits the puddle
I just feel it flooding my shoe,
next my sock. It is so cold that I get goosebumps.
As soon as my foot leaves the puddle I hear all the water in my shoe and sock just pour out.
Next a cold breeze just comes across my foot and gives me goose bumps.
