a day of football

At the football field…
The feel of fresh cut grass,
Might give you a rash,
The bone-chilling hits,
Might make you say “quits”,
When the coach says to “run”,
You sarcastically say “oh fun”,
When the game comes to a close,
Be careful not to blink,
Because it will be gone quick,
Like water down a sink.
