precautions
Precautions
The big dog blended in with the
Dark night.
As I walked through the wet grass.
Just like being in a freezer.
The cold breeze touched my face.
As I made my way through the grass.
It felt as though I would never reach the dog.
He is on earth and I am on the moon.
So far away.
Not paying attention.
I sped through the grass with my head gazing down,
At my feet.
The warm flashlight skimming the
Great, Green, Grass.
“Where is he” I would ask now and then.
Never getting an answer.
Little did I know the dark dogs chain was unraveling,
And making his way towards me.
Not having time to run.
The beast as dark as the night, was coming closer.
The dog pinning me down,
On the freezing grass.
I couldn’t fight.
Every so often I would scream for help,
But it never did anything.
The feeling of skin tearing,
and my blood and tears staining,
the grass in the night.
