The Rich and The Poor
This is a story about two different people
Like the Prince and the Pauper, Jasmine and Aladdin
One tastes food from the other man’s trash bin
It’s between the rich and the poor, plain and simple
Ten jobs he took on to pay the bills
The other sleeps soundlessly during his one
Time to him is something to kill
While to the other it’s to get all things done
The rich got the highest class of treatment
Just for a fever that could be cured through sleep
The facility he gets is purely because of the money in his heap
Meanwhile the poor barely gets through helping his wife, pregnant
Here, money is the man with all the power
You must bow down your head before him
Everyone who meets him cower
Without him, your chances of surviving in the society is slim
The green of wealth has turned people mad
Money has clouded the kindness of people
Here’s the truth that is both true and sad;
Without money, getting justice is like a battle
What happened with transparency?
It isn’t crystal clear, but mud water murky
Now go dress up in a suit and tie or a dress
You’re never going anywhere looking like a mess
