new love?
Nervousness.
It sits on my face
And in my
Stomach
I grip the reins
My fingers turning white
As the leather slides
Through my fingers
Ally is free hearted
Like a wild stallion
But she can be tamed
Just a lot of work
I sit up, push my left leg back,
Move my seat as if I was already
Cantering and make a kissing sound that
Seams to echo around the room.
I start to feel a
Smooth but fast,
All too familiar rocking motion.
Then the sensation I am riding 100mph.
I feel as one with
Her as we glide
Around the room
As if she was meant for me
I finish, pat her neck
Tell her “good job” and in that
Very moment I knew I had found
New love
