Etymologically Maria means bitter
Bymylogically though, Maria means better
And better than bitter is bittersweet,
Which can only be defined as fortunate defeat
An example most fittingly being,
Residing mountain lengths away of a beauty so agreeing


The author's comments:

There's a girl I know named Maria who is among the most beautiful people I've ever seen. I love her dearly. She's a great friend of mine, and unfortunately I no longer get to see her because I moved out of the way. And yeah, I made up the word "bymylogically." Poetic justice.
