Is it Black, Grey or White?
Or is it just in my mind?

In the first instance, it was definitely Black.
The instance when I had lost it all,
Success had become a distant past or a very distant future,
Failure is all that I got.
The world was a blur and my mind, a complete havoc
All that I could do was lament on my fate
Fate, which had ceased to favor me.

On careful inspection, it then seemed to be Grey.
However, it was dull, yet a hope nonetheless.
Melancholy was the only state
And isolation the only Relief.
Yet, somehow, it felt incomplete
This time it was not my dream
It was I.

When at last, I tried to comprehend everything once again
I realized that it was all White.
It had been White all along,
Just coated with ugliness, that faded away with time.
To give way to Hope,
A way to believe in my dreams again,
And to chase them once more.
For now, I know it was just in the state of mind.
