The Chosen
Looking through your glassy gaze,
What do you see?
What do you feel?
A dream in which
Death strikes
With her fleeting might
Veiled in sin,
And clothed with blood,
Death speaks
Pointing at you
With her skeletal finger
She rasps the words
Of an ancient sorcery
A pure white aura
Seeps through your scarlet lips
And then death has finished
Her ancient works
Shuddering violently,
Screaming in terror
You are put through torture
That death has cursed
With a final jolt
And a scream piercing the night
You lay stiffened
Looking through your glassy gaze
What do you see?
What do you feel?
You blood has crystallised
Your heart has stopped
But still with a sudden movement
You stand
Death has cursed you
With her effortless words
Her curse bending fate
For you are now
Cursed of the ancient myths
A dead immortal
You are the chosen
