What is a yell?
Just a build up of emotion?
Just the want to be heard?
Just the need to feel noticed?

What is a yell?
It’s ripping your soul open from the tension,
Letting the whole world feel what you do.
It’s giving people the combination to your mind,
to what you truly feel inside.
It’s the last effort put forth before the darkness
rolls in from the side of your vision.

What is a yell?
If I yelled, would you hear it?
If I yelled, would you feel it?
If I yelled, would things change?

What is a yell?
I’ll yell for what i feel matters.
I’ll yell against what i know to be lies.
I’ll yell for me,
what I believe,
care for.
