Me? Crazy? I should get off this unicorn and SLAP you

Winter comes, brutal and all

a small package arrives at my door step

Red mittens

They hug my hands with eternal warmth

each stitch tightly woven together

My red mittens are like marshmellows over a warm fire

They're the defenders from the malicious frost bite

each day I leave them on my lowboy choclate dresser

each day they eventually unravel

to eventually they become...

rough, sticky, faded, and loose

It's the end of winter

I throw my old friend away
