Sister Mine

September 21, 2014
By Anonymous

Perpetual sisters,

four months short of

blood bond ideal.

Breathe,

melodrama:

like telapathetic pathological liars

grubby little nine year olds

bathed in ego

grubby little Icarus,

bathed in sunlight

drink the molten lava rays

as you fall closer to earth,

landing hard...

impact:200 pound middle schooler,

lost in the nostalgia for

her hand.

spit the word obese: connotation, alone abandoned

thirteen year old.

bitter enough to stare into

the sun see stars become pain

but only a shadowy figure,

never the coy smirk of your twin.

"earth" is cruel to a would be queen

but the sweet smell of burning flesh

invites the return of your sister.

impact: wishbone body broken, angry little brat

who no one cares for

welcome home.
