Hope: My Key to Happiness
When the dusk falls preparing you to face the dark
Which makes your heart leap in fright
When the light in the sky leaves no mark
Everything seems to transform in an eternal night
You prepare yourself to quit
Indeed you think you cannot survive
As you are in the deepest pit
You think there's no need to thrive
Why do you forget that you have a candle?
Which lights and fights against the darkness
It appears to be too weak to handle
Handle this infinite mess
Sometimes life turns into a dark maze
Perhaps every maze has an exit
Hope is the candle aiding you in this phase
Making you discover your way out as long as it's lit
So don't let disasters hover over you
Surely they'll pass away
And before you get the slightest clue
Follows the new brightened day

A couple of years back, I was a very hopeless person. Always taking stress over the most miniature issues which preoccupied my mind and never let me cherish the good times of my life. But as time passed by, I learnt that life is like a wave which has a crust of happiness followed by the trough of sadness and vice versa. So instead of worrying, why shouldn't I hope for the best times to come and try to look for the good moments instead of letting my life sway away with the worries.
