the un-change
So I changed what now
does it make my life more acceptable?
So I became more like you
does this mean I'm worthy?
So you forgot,
but I remember it all
So there's no more “ oh it’s her”,
because I still recall the memories of rejection and being put down for my ‘level of difference’
So being alike is better
makes it easier for you I guess
So it leaves one thing
change or stay, become worthy or be true to me
So I can't go back to non acceptable
the language, clothes, hair, humor, friends and all in all the life I wanted so dearly
So i'm stuck
but it’s okay they'll see how BEAUTIFUL I am and be ashamed
