I Hope
I hope I never get to the point,
to where living is hell.
Living is a pleasure
that we should treasure.
There may not be any second chances
and many take it for granted.
There will be many troubles along the way,
but don't let it ruin your day.
There will be many stairs and steps to climb,
but soon the steps will flatten- just give it some time.
You'll be scarred and bruised from the inside out.
You'll have tears of pain that overflow you; i have no doubt.
But once you let all the waters ruin clear,
the tears will be gone and so will the fears.
Happiness will creep into the cracks of the steps
where all the pain was kept,
but you know for every uphill
there must be a downhill.
That was just the way it was meant to be,
but you live for those uphills with much glee.
I hope I never get to the point
to where living is hell.
