Red, white, and blue,
From sea to shining sea.
We've been drunk off one victory,
Since 1783.
Now Blue is at war with red,
and we're too ignorant to choose.
America the beautiful,
Thought she could never lose.
A bloodless war rages,
A country torn in two.
If we cannot be humbled,
Then both sides play the fool.
Are our skulls too thick,
Or are our eyes too blind?
To see that niether one will win,
Unless our efforts are combined.
