Heartbeats and Lies

For some reason the first thing to come to my mind were cops. You know when the cops are questioning the bad guys and usually the bad guys are hooked up to a machine that tells the cops if they're lying. The machine usually has a paper and a pen or something that draws the heartbeats like on a heart rate monitor. I heard people say when you lie your heartbeat changes or something like that. I think it is intresting how heartbeats can determine lies.
