The Test
Top i was,
Looking down, beneathe my crown.
Never in fear
For I held the spear.
Aced every test,
As the best,
No less.
With the paper in my grasps,
I pinched myself,
Hoping to wake up from this nightmare.
Who or what is the culprit?
What did I miss?
What did I hit?
Complacency I say.
A touch of arrogance too,
Makes up who i am,
As I now lay in dismay...
A fork now lays ahead.
I have a decision to make.
To God i seek
Divine guidance,
To return to my peak.
