Silky Shores and Stormy Sky
Oh Silky Shores!
How Your seductive touch enthralls me to your grace,
the curvature of Your borders creating an effect not unlike that of the Sirens from the age of the Greeks.
What makes Your pale, luminescent sand bring such light and clarity to one such as me?
When even now, raging above You is the shadowed wrath of the
Stormy Sky.
With tumultuous winds and grasping bolts of chaotic lightning, set to the cataclysmic sound of thunder’s charging armies towards the lands of man.
Yet You stand Your ground, brave even in the face of the raging heavens itself, constantly being supported by the hypnotic waves sweeping in and out of Your caring arms.
As the Stormy Sky passes You remain firm, keeping all Your children of the rock and the lowly tide pool safe from the abusive clash of electricity and fear.
When all is clear, You exist, unmoved by such power, staying to keep watch over the horizon and its denizens.
And as the world watches, you glow, the radiant beacon of hope in the eye of the storm.

I enjoy nature imagery and I always imagine what can happen if nature was a living and breathing entity, always watching over us every day.
