It is Clear
Gasping through the thinning air
Spokes of glistening tranquility gently turning around me
I gaze through the open valley with the eyes of my soul
For a single moment I am transfixed on the intrinsic value of life
So pure, yet so agonizing
So natural, yet so very deviant
Life itself is a mere crystal of quartz in the quarry
A mere flake of snow in the tundra
We are not but one
We are a plethora of universal bodies
And the beautiful paradox in which we are sustained
Is nothing more than a grain of sand
On the proverbial beach of life
