Water
Water is like a double edged sword
A dangerous force both foul and fair
That both takes lives
And gives it
Water could come as a horrific monster
A surging wall of pure, unstoppable power
Swallowing any living thing in its path
And leaving only destruction, sorrow and grief in its path
Or it could be the liquid of life
The liquid that nothing would be alive without
For if it had not been for water
There would be no life
We must fear the frightening power of water
For it is a force of nature that cannot be stopped by man
But we must also see the beauty of this magical liquid
As even though it has taken many lives
It is what started countless others
