Parents, listen to us!
They told you what to do
Since you were born
They'd do it everyday
From night to morn
They'd send you to school
For you to learn
For a good education
Is what they yearn
They don't go to the school
But they're sure of its decency
But they don't know
Of it's hidden delinquency
The bullying is more
Than playing mean tricks
It destroys everyone
It's never for kicks
The struggle of grades
Unbearable, at least
As if anyone can handle
An impossible beast
The teachers never help
It's out of their payroll
The sheets they give out
Make the whole class dull
But when we speak up
To our parents, how we're spited
They give the same response
"You don't have to like it"
Parents won't know
Even if we tell them
About the devolution of our education
For our sisters and brethren
Hopefully one day
They'll understand
And we can fix this problem
Crush it with our bare hands
But please don't tell them lies
You have nothing to hide
Because your parents don't know
What kills you inside

I'm hoping that parents realize that there's a difference between not liking school and simply can't bear to be in one. It's not because we're lazy; it's because we're tired of everything. We're tired of the everyday worry of passing and failing, who is looking at you funny, who to impress, who to avoid, what to do to survive a single school day. It's way more stressful than what you did back then.
