The sun gradually rises over the horizon in the East.
Summer is slowly coming to an end
And the days become shorter.
Bright, vibrant, yellow and red leaves cover the hillside.
Golden streaks of light reflect through the trees
As squirrels stuff their cheeks with acorns preparing for winter.
The colorful array of leaves crunch underfoot
As the little red head races home after a long hard day.
Puffs from her deep breathing cut through the crisp air.
Smells of cinnamon and pumpkin float through the air with the wind.
The evening darkness comes along quickly
Leaving only a few hours play and run free.
Screams of joy and laughter fill the air
While smiles appear on faces everywhere.
The strenuous activities of the day disappear from the mind.
No one has a care in the world.
Slowly the energy fades away
As another autumn day comes to an end.
