Breath.
Look around you; what do you see?
Some leaves, dried out on the ground,
Some trees, basking in the warm summer sun.
 

At first glance, you see nothing.
Well, nothing of import.
But look closer, slow down.

Take a minute, take an hour.
Refocus yourself, refocus your vision.
What do you see?

Inside those leaves? Listen.
The rustling of geckos.
On those trees,
The flutter of birds.
The sounds and sights of the sun touching everything within it's reach,
Like a god, shading the world in perpetual warmth and love.
Crickets chirping, and the river bubbling.
Evidence of beauty in the mundane.

Now what can you say?
You would've missed all that,

If you hadn't stopped.
Taken a breath.

And slowed down.
