Grandmother's Love
Grandmother's Love
Oh Grandma, I miss you so much,
More than you could ever know.
It only seemed like yesterday
Together with me were we watching the TV
Through the horros of the night
You were there, safe beside
That special Granmotherly Love
Which can never be replaced
Just like a circle
My love for you never ends.
Being with you feels like a blossomed flowe,
Bright and cheery, never dreary.
You make me feel
Like a freshly cooked meal,
Warm and Tender.
Every hug, every kiss
Fills me with bliss
But that was not to be.
I had a premonition
That it would come.
I turned my head away
Accepting ignorance,
Refusing reality.
That fateful momentous day
Eventuall came.
Being taken aback, was I
Never feeling the same.
Grandma I apologise.
For those last few moments, I have despised.
I hope for your forgiveness,
Your love from above
Having a loving Grandmother
Is a feeling like no other.
Time moves on
But our love shall never be torn.
