You lay on a cloud

A white, fluffy, huge cloud

Thinking about life,

your goals,

And the promises you made and

Broke

Suddenly you’re falling

A blood-curdling shriek escapes your mouth

Time then stops

You open your eyes

Darkness

You try to get up

Then you realize

You’re only a soul

You search and search for your body

Yet it seems impossible

You feel that you don’t

Exist

No one is there to help you

You’re isolated from everyone

Pleading for anyone to come

Dead silence

Then you see it

Your body laying there

You immediately go to it

But every time you make a move

It looks like it’s getting even farther away

Now our running towards it

Once you reach it

You settle into it

Hoping, praying that you’ll be noticed

But no you’re still in the dark

But now you don’t feel whole

Like you’re missing something

It feels different

Those time you looked in the mirror hoping to see anything in your reflection

Seemed like thousands of years ago

Now you have a desire

A heart hurting desire

To find something someone

So you begin your journey once again

You’re desperate

Not knowing what it is

But you still urge on

Hoping once you satisfy your desire

You’ll meet someone

Someone to laugh with

To joke with

To cry with

Feel pain that only that person can heal

Your hearts beating as one

Same blood

Then you see it

The tree of promises

As it’s white pure leaves fall to the ground

You see someone

Standing under the tree

Waving at you

calling

You start running towards the tree

Your smile is a true one

Then you see yourself

With a friend who understands you

Needs you as much as you need them

Under the tree of promises

Loneliness is sad, but being in the dark by yourself is just depressing. This is a story for al those lonely souls out there that don't feel as if they exist. Everybody is special! What inspired me to wite this was that when I sat down in my room and thought about life, I wondered about the people who are lonely and are in the dark. Two deadly enemies in one. But loneliness maybe sad because it might be lonely and darkness maybe sad because it's always in the dark and just wants to be able to shine. Did you ever think of that?!
