The Fire You Created

You use to make me feel like embers were embeded in my chest cavity,
warmth radiated all throughout me when you whispered my name in your sleep.
But now that you're gone,
I wouldn't second guess draining a bottle of vodka,
just to spark those embers back up.
A fire eating away my feelings for you is much more comforting than the memory of you walking away.
