you can take your time
I'm looking out of the windows called my eyes. Watching the highway called my life. I tried to feel everything while just passing by. But found, through it all, I didn't have the time. I wanted to do it just right. I needed to keep everything in sight, just so i can feel alright.
Life is full of stop and go,just to make us feel real low. We can't stop just to see the view, when we all are just traveling through. I'm overwhelmed by all the passing places that i can't see while I'm tying my laces to the shoes that i use to run through every town on the way to my destination.
My destination, the place in which every nightmare ends. where dreams are carefully constructed and consistent with each memory that is mended. Dreams that aren't torn at the seams, but blended with moon beams. The town in which your memory never fades and your windows never dawn their shades. The highway never closes down and you don't have to wander around town.
Take your time, and make it rhyme.
