Your Transgressions
Fire licks at your heels,
as you descend upon your death.
Life flashing before your eyes,
you still don't get it yet?
Money, power, and fame
are so small in the scheme of things.
Your time was wasted beautifully,
you broke your most promising strings.
The world recognizes intelligence,
a theory I will dismiss.
Rewards are placed on the blind,
because ignorance is bliss.
You placed your faith in faulty things,
forgetting the definition of success.
A materialistic being you became,
living for nothing but dying to impress.
You remain impoverished,
refusing to go out and study.
So deathly poor,
because all you have is money.
