there’s something about coming from a family of dysfunction-
you realize that the only thing holding you together
is blood.
there’s something about coming from a family of crazy-
you realize that the only thing keeping you sane
is yourself.
there’s something about coming from a family of overprotection-
you realize that the only thing keeping you here
is law.
there’s something about coming from a family
that needs to be bound by blood to live under the same roof in “peace”-
you realize that maybe you should just
cut out the blood.
