Promise

My promise was to remain with you forever, but seemingly enough that wasn't true. time changed and feelings did also. the months began to pile up and the love began to collapse. some say it was neglect,while others say I wasn't good enough. From the beginnning of this all I knew something bad would come of this. So as i sit on porch with the sun shinning and the blue crystal water shimmering, I to think will i ever make it out of here. July is more than over and August approaches on the horizon. I'm waiting till September because that's when it should all end. September Promise is something within.
