Moving from Mistakes
August 7, 2014
Mistakes made,
Debts unpaid.
Personalities clash
Like lids to trash.
Hearts broken,
More painful than bones.
Tranquility sings,
But I am alone.
Picking back up,
Looking around,
Knowing my mistakes have brought me down.
Brushing away dust,
Head held high,
Shoulders back,
It’s do or die.
Apologies said,
Laid to rest.
Standing tall,
I’ve done my best.
And never again will I fall,
To those mistakes that started it all.
