Takeoff
Takeoff
As the gravity lifts you off the ground
Randomness in motion
Like the content
Circling
My mind
Is like the turbulence that frightens Mother
Yet it
Flutters inside
They worry
They question
It stops
My worries
A world apart
Almost
But not.
A moment
That lifts your head up
Down.
Mine lasts
Way after
Long gone is Mother’s worry
Far away is my relief
A World apart
Almost
But not.
Until so
Ambitious
Is the thought
I dare not.
So when it comes
Headed in
Straightforward
Direction
Balance
Stability
Now
Mother relaxes
She sleeps
Only I
Feel the turbulence.
Airborne
Palpitation
Hand me over the dessert
No, not that
The wondrous feeling
My land
Sweetened to
My liking
A world apart
Almost
But not.
