The woman stared at me.
"I was in love," she said.
"I hope you see what I was blind to,
I hope you miss the heartbreak.
But I know you won't."
She turned away.
I looked at the woman.
Trying to remember where we had met
So familiar,
A face worn with time,
A face I knew well.
And I realized.
