the difference of the world
The tree bends, reaching the labor child
Who sits calmly on the pathway
Listening…
Listening to the children begging for food
Or clicking of coins in a gypsy’s hands
To the cries of girls
To the sighs of boys
To the howling wind
That brings the voice of somewhere far
Somewhere different
Where children play and laugh with joy
And need to beg for food no more
The sky wears black, it screams and cries
It sighs at the difference of the world
