My Medicine
I’ve come to learn
 that people,
 even you,
 are not medicine,
 and that bleeding
every sweet word you said to me
 out into the sink
 won’t stop me from thinking
 about you,
 and won’t stop you
 from not thinking about me.
 But s***,
I still want to do it.
