There's a sun on the horizon
She's never seen before.
It brings warmth,
Strength,
Happiness.
Its rays stretch further with ever step she takes.
Following patiently behind
With no plans of giving up on its persuit.
And it taps on the shoulder of a girl
So reluctant to turn around
