"Lucky for the government the people do not think." - Adolf Hitler

Floating in space,
Dark, crisp eternity-
Learning the anatomy of my face.
The corners of my mouth slightly curl,
Like my lashes- dress in pearls
A lady evolving rapidly.

Learning my x, under my lunar spotlight,
A state of delight, my show-night smile
Visiting for awhile.

The warm air of grain sways thee away-
Perfect bliss for yet another day.
When I look in the mirror images appear unclear.

Nothing to fear and I can hear my mother whisper
"Baby", but I am aware of being alone.

Sunshine hides away, I need warm guidance today.
I wait for the brighter day when life will whisper
"Baby" and I will know that I am home.

I wrote this poem as a sort of coming of age piece. At this age I am expected to get a grip and transition from teenager to young lady. I must play society's material games, however I look to the simplicity of the universe for guidance.
