Life to ash.
Purity from her birth
Ones she held closest, moved too close.
Acts were done that can't be unwound.
Poor girl lays there,
Tormented by her own mind
Darkness swallows her
Years turn to dust, and memories fade away
Unable to connect and feel real again,
Sought fake love could heal her pain.
Headlights are alone in illuminating her truth
She stands voiceless on the street corner,
In her little red dress.
