Did you see the fire in the sky
last night
A thousand ships
one salute
the voice of many
crying from the heights
come away
join in our song
of adventure
and mystery
the corner is empty
but the heart is full
of many elements
cooking
festering in conflict
come into the sky
and feel the stars press
against your eyelids
the breeze
and the mechanics
of intricate spaceships
unspecified
inhabited only by
imagination
exploration
and escape
